Getting to know More of US at FAAP

I WUF this saying...
That is what an artist does...
we SHARE ourselves through our creations.

I'm dog tired.
My Momma kept me awake trying to get
some deadline finished.
Wish she could not make so much noise.

It is time to share a few more of our Shops
and how they got their names..
I WUF reading these!

We have the magic going again--
simply click on the shop name to
Magically appear in each shop

I love everything old and worn, so that is where the Primitive part of the name came from and there are times when you just have to put that black hat on and show them who you are ;-) that is where the rest came from. The entire name is "The Primitive Black Hat Society" but etsyshortened it to PrimitiveBlackHat

Monday's Child is taken from the old nursery rhyme (yes I was born on a Monday LOL). I wanted something old and whimsical but yet something different that would be easy to remember. In a roundabout way it also ties my mom into it since she is my helper, teacher, and inspriaton.

Susan Smith
My great aunt really was a gypsy. My grandmother used to tell so many stories about her and always said she was as free as the wind. She was truly so beautiful inside and out and as a child I wanted to be her ... sometimes as an adult too.

Sharon Jedlinsky
My daughters and I were supposed to craft together. Hence the plural Crusty Old Crows.  Crusty and Old seemed to describe the primitive look we wanted and Crows being a big part of primitives  worked well.   Well two of the crows jumped ship. LOL and now it is just me.

Connie Smith
I have collected fabrics, trims and buttons for over 30 years, and I have a quilting business which yields lots of scraps.  My love of old and tattered quilts and things gave me the idea.

Debi Tricerri
mine came out of the fact that my craft room is always in this state, even when it's clean!! mine has never looked like the pristine craft rooms in magazines!! and yes i know where every supply is, that is until i clean it!!  😆.

Here is a quick recipe for all the chocolate lovers.

Oreo Balls

1 package of Oreo Cookies, crumbled
I crumble them in a zip lock bag.
1 8 ounce block of cream cheese, room temperature
Again, I throw it in the zip lock bag with the cookie crumbs
I mix it gently in the bag while I watch TV

Throw in the fridge to cool a bit

Roll into small balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Put in the freezer to harden.

Dip into melted Chocolate
Drizzle some white chocolate on the tops to look purdy!

YUMMY and, oh, so easy!

The FAAP Team is having a Heart a Thon.
That means, we heart a bunch of items.

This helps us get seen in Etsy.

As you know, there are hundreds of shops in Etsy.
The more activity that happens in our shop,
The better our chance for shoppers to find us.

If you have a few minutes to help us,
We would appreciate it.

Go to the Etsy Search Bar
type:
FAAPVTINE

Then heart away.
It is better to click on the item so it opens
in our shop
and THEN Heart it.

Hey, you can Also Pin our items, too

THANK YOU for stopping by

We are so happy to create Handmade items.

If we can help you, please let us know!
