Loreen Pitchford
I'm afraid I wasn't as original as  many others but I simply continued to use the name of my studio since I've been selling and teaching art from here for some time. I also had the name established across social media - I've read it's good practice to keep the continuity across media outlets😊.

Kim Orcutt
We lived in a valley in NY and at the time the name was for a gift shoppe in our house. I was selling primitive items. The name was Valley Primitives Gift Shoppe. It's now Valley Primitives Stitches because I am now only selling hand stitched items with an old, primitive feel.

Denise Cassidy Bailey
When I first started out crafting for craft shows in our area, I had piles and piles of items.  My daughters started calling me a 'crazy craft lady'.  When I found that primitives didn't sell well here (Pittsburgh) , I decided to try to sell on eBay.  At the time, I did not have a shop/ shop name, I just did listings.
When I ventured online I did some searches and found Prim Mart.  I needed a log in name and decided to go with crazy craft lady, but changed the C's to K's.  Thus....Krazy Kraft Lady.  I then started a blog and called that ' The Krazy Kraft Lady'.
Eventually I did open a shop on eBay and I needed a name so I abbreviated my name and added Primitives.

Kathy Hale Cage
How did my shop get it's name? I have an introverted personality and ever since I was a child and also as an adult I have felt nearly invisible at times and that people could not see or understand my motivations ... they couldn't see my "heart" ... Some how I have not been good at conveying that ... That's where the name Kathy's Heart came from ... my way of allowing people to see who I am and what matters to me ... my faith and a simple, warm, unsophisticated life ... thus Kathy's Heart Creations ... I have a simple, warm, cozy, homespun, cottage, farmhouse feel in all the things that I make. ...

Wendy Marro
The house I grew up in was next to the woods
that had a little creek flowing through it!

Tara Sharan Hensley
It took me several days and a lot of brainstorming but I finally thought , "well my home is rustic" so I came up with The Rustic Home but that was taken so I added Company on the end.  TheRusticHomeCompany

Darla Walk (one of our co-leaders)
My shop name is Harriet Stash.    Harriet was my grandmothers name. Her picture is on my Creation table.... Stash is the "stash in Harriets attic. I have had other names.... always thinking it is the key but let me tell you. I have got rid of other thoughts. this is my shop name... I use it with pride. I loved my Grandmother.

I love everything old and worn, so that is where the Primitive part of the name came from and there are times when you just have to put that black hat on and show them who you are ;-) that is where the rest came from. The entire name is "The Primitive Black Hat Society" but etsyshortened it to PrimitiveBlackHat

Michelle Smith
Monday's Child is taken from the old nursery rhyme (yes I was born on a Monday LOL). I wanted something old and whimsical but yet something different that would be easy to remember. In a roundabout way it also ties my mom into it since she is my helper, teacher, and inspriaton.

Susan Smith
My great aunt really was a gypsy. My grandmother used to tell so many stories about her and always said she was as free as the wind. She was truly so beautiful inside and out and as a child I wanted to be her ... sometimes as an adult too.

Sharon Jedlinsky
My daughters and I were supposed to craft together. Hence the plural Crusty Old Crows.  Crusty and Old seemed to describe the primitive look we wanted and Crows being a big part of primitives  worked well.   Well two of the crows jumped ship. LOL and now it is just me.

Connie Smith
I have collected fabrics, trims and buttons for over 30 years, and I have a quilting business which yields lots of scraps.  My love of old and tattered quilts and things gave me the idea.

Debi Tricerri
mine came out of the fact that my craft room is always in this state, even when it's clean!! mine has never looked like the pristine craft rooms in magazines!! and yes i know where every supply is, that is until i clean it!!  😆.

Here is a quick recipe for all the chocolate lovers.

Oreo Balls

1 package of Oreo Cookies, crumbled
I crumble them in a zip lock bag.
1 8 ounce block of cream cheese, room temperature
Again, I throw it in the zip lock bag with the cookie crumbs
I mix it gently in the bag while I watch TV

Throw in the fridge to cool a bit

Roll into small balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Put in the freezer to harden.

Dip into melted Chocolate
Drizzle some white chocolate on the tops to look purdy!

YUMMY and, oh, so easy!

The FAAP Team is having a Heart a Thon.
That means, we heart a bunch of items.

This helps us get seen in Etsy.

As you know, there are hundreds of shops in Etsy.
The more activity that happens in our shop,
The better our chance for shoppers to find us.

If you have a few minutes to help us,
We would appreciate it.

Go to the Etsy Search Bar
type:
FAAPVTINE

Then heart away.
It is better to click on the item so it opens
in our shop
and THEN Heart it.

Hey, you can Also Pin our items, too

THANK YOU for stopping by

Bob Reyna
Ryen wanted to leave the shop name open to include any kind of items she chose to create.  After many attempts at shop names that were already taken, RyensMarketplace was born.

Jennifer Rose-Atchison
I named my store after my big baby cat named Paulie Wogs.

Scott Foster
The adze is a tool similar to an axe but the blade is perpendicular to the handle.  The history of the adze is muddy but archeologists know it goes back as far as the stone age.  I used the adze in my shop name because it reminds me of what can be done with simple handtools.  With an axe, and an adze, a Viking could build a ship.     Adzewoodcraft

Tammy Peacock Fry
I came up with my name, after my great aunts farm.  My favorite place.  Her farm was called Lost Valley Farm, as they flooded the valley where the old town site was, it became the lost valley.  She lived in a big old farm house surrounded by antiques, but to her they were her everyday things. 😊

Sherrie Dalton
A while back I was laughing with my sisters and my husband told us we sounded like old cackling hens all in good humor of course. So, I thought hmm....Old Cacklin' Hen... sounds like a good name for my business.
