Tag it Tuesday on Friday

Howdy, Friends
I have been Sniffing out some Good Scents!

I have also sniffed out
some more amazing
ART by my Favorite
FAAP TEAM

I thought I would share
a bit from some shops
that recently participated in our
TAG IT TUESDAY

So what is that?

My Mommie, tries to find
some tags that are fun and on each Tuesday,
she asks shops to go
and heart at least
20 items from 20 different shops.

WHY?

When we heart an item on Etsy,
it appears in our feed,
and all of our followers can see it
and then they can tag it and their followers can see it...
and on and on and on...

It just gives us another opportunity
to get our items seen!

It in wonderful to have the support of others!

Enjoy these awesome items
And As always
Click on the Blue
to magically appear in
the Etsy shop...

Please visit us and
we thank you for your support.

HASH BROWN Casserole

Makes a 9×13″ pan of potatoes, about 10 to 12 servings

2 lbs. frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup butter, melted and divided
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped onion or green onion
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 pint (2 cups) sour cream (regular or light)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups crushed corn flakes, optional
1/4 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray a 9×13″ pan or baking dish; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns with 1/2 cup of the melted butter, pepper, salt, and chopped onion, blending well. Add in the soup and sour cream, then the cheddar cheese, mixing everything well. Spread mixture evenly into a 9×13″ baking dish. Mix 1/4 cup melted butter and the crushed corn flakes together and sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve hot.

Those who know me, know I do not follow a recipe. This is what I did differently:

1. I  bake in 2 aluminum foil containers and freeze one for later. (The square ones--8 inches??)

2.  I usually do not use that much butter. The most I use is half a stick.

3. I don't always use cream of chicken. This last time I used cream of mushroom. Cream of Celery is also good for a twist.

4. I  didn't use onions so Charcoal could enjoy it, but I do love it with Vidalia onions.

5. I don't use that much sour cream, either--lol I probably used 6 ounces.

6. I don't always put the corn flakes on top!

7. Sometimes, I have noticed that the potatoes don't seem cooked enough, so I most always cover it tightly and baked covered for 45 minutes, remove the foil and bake until brown, approximately 15 minutes.

8. I stir everything together while the hash browns are frozen, so they don't get mushy!

9. Hmmmm... I really didn't come close to this recipe, but in all fairness, I have made this for over 25 years, and I just put what I have  and/or like.

I always suggest following directions the first time. It is wonderful by the directions.

Note: This is like Cracker Barrels Hash Brown Casserole
I am pretty sure, they do not put the corn flakes on top.

SPRINGTHYME FAAP

The Folkart and Primitives and More Etsy team
(FAAP)
is a very active group.

We do Lots of Fun things on our Team.
Not everyone is able
to participate in every activity,
so we have something at least
once a month that somebody will like!

We have over 200 members,
but sadly, only about 40 are active.
Those that are not active,
sure do miss out on the
FUN and getting to know each other!!
Isn't that often the case with any organization.

Our goal is to SELL items,
BUT we also do our best to help
our team members sell, also.

On our Team FB page,
we try to keep each other up to date
on the always changing Etsy.
We discuss things that work
and things that need a little adjusting...

We do a lot of HEARTING of items
to keep others items getting noticed.
In turn, they do the same for others.
It is a great example of life
and how we should
 support and encourage others.
By doing this, we also reap the benefits.

Kindness ALWAYS matters,
no matter where you are and
what you are doing.

We just had a PIN-A-THON
where each participant pinned
at least 5 items from the
shops that participated.

So, HOW can YOU Help?

Go to our shops and PIN some of our items.
Go to Pinterst and seach:
SPRINGTHYME FAAP
and find our boards and
pin some of the items to YOUR boards...

See something you like?
Then we are more than
happy to sell it to YOU...

OR

We can help you find what you want--

Most of us do custom orders.

Give us a try...I think you will be pleased.

To find MORE of our team, go to etsy and search: FAAP
